Cleaning Solutions for industrial Reprocessing

Mastering diversity. Maintaining quality.
Industrial reprocessing involves many variables: traditional remanufacturing of vehicle components, reconditioning of industrial assemblies, hygienic cleaning of reusable packaging, or the processing of valuable materials – such as titanium chips – for recycling. Success always depends on a precisely tailored cleaning process; this creates the foundation for the required surface and hygiene standards, particularly in sensitive sectors such as food, medicine, and cosmetics.
Understanding processes. Shaping cleanliness.
Value-preserving processing begins with understanding the task at hand. What contaminants need to be removed? What level of cleanliness is required? And above all: what process step follows next? Whether for reuse, further processing, inspection, or recycling – your requirements matrix forms the foundation for a precisely tailored cleaning solution.
Patented processes such as MAFAC Vectorkinematiks and Pressure-switching Technology MAFAC VAP achieve technical cleanliness even with stubborn contaminants. Furthermore, the targeted movement prevents parts designed for tight stacking from sticking together. Vacuum drying subsequently prepares the cleaned parts optimally for the next process step.

Enable value retention. Leverage existing resources.
Value retention does not end with clean surfaces. What matters is that your components, materials, and production assets remain within the material cycle and are prepared for the next process step – whether for further processing, reuse, or recycling.

MAFAC for industrial Reprocessing FAQ.
Can only the specified application groups be cleaned?
The examples illustrate typical applications. In principle, a wide range of components, materials, and production equipment made of metal, plastic, or composite materials can be cleaned. To ensure greater planning certainty, we can—if required—conduct tests at the MAFAC Customer Center using your original parts and the actual contaminants.
Can a MAFAC cleaning system handle varying materials and a mix of parts?
Yes, a decisive advantage in industrial processing. Different programs can be stored in the control, for example for robust cast components or sensitive aluminum housings. Depending on the material and cleanliness requirements, it may also be necessary to change the cleaning medium.
How does MAFAC prevent flash rust after cleaning and degreasing?
To protect against flash rust, MAFAC combines two protective mechanisms: a temporary preservative protects the surface, while subsequent vacuum drying reliably removes residual moisture—even from blind holes, threads, and complex internal geometries. The components leave the system completely dry and are optimally prepared for storage or further processing.
Does MAFAC reliably remove stubborn contaminants?
Yes. Patented processes such as MAFAC vector kinematics and MAFAC VAP pressure-swing technology reliably remove even baked-on lubricants, encrustations, and other stubborn contaminants.
How does MAFAC ensure stable cleaning processes in the face of high levels of contamination and high microbial loads?
Continuous bath maintenance, high-performance filtration, and oil separation ensure consistent cleaning conditions, even with high levels of contamination. A fresh-water rinse can be installed as an option for hygiene-critical applications. This ensures reproducible cleaning results and high system availability.
