Targeted cleaning and drying of complex components – MAFAC presents new processes at the parts2clean
How do I clean hidden contours in complex components in a reliable, gentle, and above all economic manner? In future, MAFAC will have a completely new answer to this eternal question of every production department manager. At the next parts2clean in Stuttgart, the manufacturer of compact parts washers is going to present a new process for direct cleaning and drying.
"Many manufacturers face the daily challenge of providing premium, reproducible cleaning and drying results for complex parts such as hydraulic blocks or common rails. With the additional complications of strict specifications and limited budgets, achieving this goal used to be very difficult. To solve these problems, we developed a new process for intelligent cleaning and drying of the parts in the workpiece carrier," says Rainer Schwarz, MAFAC Managing Director.
The new process is presented by way of a MAFAC JAVA and a demonstrator developed for this very purpose. The transparent small-scale model of the machine illustrates the cleaning process with the newly developed central bearing kinematics which generate a high degree of turbulence. Thus, the cleaning agents reach and flow through difficult-to-reach internal geometries.
The spray parts washer MAFAC KEA will also be shown at the MAFAC booth. The compact machine is ideal for intermediate cleaning and has proven its value for a wide range of applications.
