White Papers

A white paper is a document issued by a government as a statement of policy, which often sets out proposals for legislative changes or the introduction of new laws. Today, a white paper can also be viewed as an authoritative PR instrument that explores research, arguments, and schools of thought without the use of sales and marketing jargon. Technical aspects, case studies or analyzes are described in a straightforward manner and are intended to provide readers with a basic overview of the advantages/disadvantages, costs, and possible savings offered by a specific solution. Actual facts are presented in an objective and balanced fashion. A white paper can thus help its readers to make a decision, solve a problem or understand an issue.
