MAFAC machinery company was founded in 1968 by Ernst Schwarz in Alpirsbach in the Black Forest. It all started with the production of belt grinding machines for the metal working industry. In response to the increasing demands in industrial parts cleaning, the development and production of the first MAFAC cleaning systems commenced in 1974, and development continues to this day.
This resulted in new, patented process technologies being introduced in 1991 for use with aqueous parts cleaning systems which meet the latest requirements of the German Water Resources Act.
With the launch of the SF 60.40, being the first compact cleaning system with integrated spray-flood technique, MAFAC set new standards worldwide. With great innovative strenght, MAFAC has developed a wide range of standard and special cleaning systems for the most diverse requirements, such as customer-specific and challenging cleanliness demands.
Today, MAFAC is considered to be an worldwide expert in the field of aqueous parts cleaning and supplies international markets with cleaning systems made in Germany.
