Ideal fit, effective cleaning – MAFAC PURA

It’s been one year since the market launch of the MAFAC PURA spray cleaning machine. In the meantime, the entry-level model has been sold many times. Cleaning expert MAFAC used this opportunity to conduct a customer survey. The results of the survey show: the condensed functionality of the MAFAC PURA meets the trends and requirements of the market.

According to the survey, the machine's compact size and user-friendliness in particular are convincing criteria. Both permit an uncomplicated use in the production run, because given the dimensions of 950 H x 1600 W x 1550 D mm, cleaning can be carried out even in the smallest of spaces. This is also confirmed by Manfred Bürkle, Managing Director of Haigis in Albstadt-Onstmettingen: "The small, very effective parts washer ideally suits our production. Its cleaning chamber is easily accessible and easy to load." The "machine to go" principle and the "plug and play" installation also set the right impulses for the weights manufacturer: "We were able to obtain the machine quickly and without long waiting times, adapt it easily to our range of parts and then start it up and operate it ourselves without any problems.”

Quick and easy control of bottlenecks!
Thanks to this prompt availability and simple installation, the company was able to deal with production bottlenecks at short notice. Small parts are cleaned as bulk material, after the hardening process or after grinding. During intermediate cleaning, the PURA removes fine dust and prepares the parts for the next production step. It is particularly important that the workpieces are reliably dry when they are fed into the subsequent process. The compact machine can also impress with a very good drying result at this stage.

Versatile all-round machine
According to users, the MAFAC PURA is used both for intermediate and final cleaning and usually removes oils, emulsions and chips from turned and milled parts. Customers confirm that it successfully covers a multitude of materials: parts made of aluminium, grey cast iron, steel, stainless steel and brass. User expectations on the cleaning result were met to the complete satisfaction of 95% of the survey participants. Users whose machine is equipped with an optional coalescence oil separator also confirm the long service life of the cleaning bath. For many, the MAFAC PURA is thus a "small, effective cleaning centre", which is not only a cost-effective investment, but also proves to be uncomplicated and versatile.
Based on this positive market response, MAFAC is launching the serial production of the MAFAC PURA’s third edition.
