Effective and compact cleaning – MAFAC at the AMB 2022
MAFAC is all about effective, resource-saving parts cleaning at the upcoming AMB in Stuttgart. In Hall 5, Stand 5A73 we will present our automatic transfer system MAFAC CONTINUO and the new vacuum cleaning technology MAFAC Vacuum Activated Purification (VAP). Another important part of our presence at the trade fair will be the service point, where we will present options for remote maintenance or digitalization live.
“The requirements for parts cleaning are constantly increasing. The continuing miniaturization and increasing complexity of the components are still among the most important challenges. Due to the rising material and energy costs, manufacturing companies also need cleaning machines that can be used flexibly, clean effectively and have smart access options to increase productivity. At the AMB, we are presenting our visitors with technologies that enable economical, standardized, intelligent and at the same time resource-saving parts cleaning," explains Peter Ruoff, the Head of Marketing and Sales.
The service point of the MAFAC exhibition stand is dedicated to the topics of external access, fast error diagnosis and the individual compilation of required spare parts. Based on the live presentation of different control packages or functions for remote maintenance and digitization, visitors can get to know the possibilities and their benefits on site by using the example of a MAFAC JAVA.
For tight production areas, MAFAC once again demonstrates the advantages of the compact design of its machines with the help of the modular MAFAC CONTINUO transfer system. MAFAC CONTINUO enables the flexible integration of cleaning into interlinked or narrow production environments and ensures optimized utilization of the cleaning machine when there is a high volume of parts. The system allows operation with up to five shopping carts or workpiece carriers and can be combined with all MAFAC machines except for the MAFAC PURA.
The Vacuum Activated Purification (VAP) vacuum cleaning process was introduced for the effective cleaning of capillary structures. Targeted alternating pressure increases the cleaning effect of spray or sprayed flood cleaning, so that, even deep bores with small cross-sections can be cleaned reliably and economically. The VAP technology is designed for the machine models MAFAC JAVA, MAFAC PALMA and MAFAC MALTA.
