Compact cleaning know-how – MAFAC Cleaner College for the first time at the new MCC

The requirement profiles on technical cleanliness vary greatly. The possibilities offered by aqueous parts cleaning to meet the partly high requirements are just as versatile. Many pointers and suggestions as to what these look like and which parameters are available to configure an efficient and premium cleaning process were again provided at the Cleaner College held on 11 November 2021. The basic seminar was for the first time held in the new seminar facilities of the MAFAC Customer Center (MCC) in compliance with the applicable hygiene rules.

For one whole day, the experienced team of experts from the companies Surtec and MAFAC conveyed everything worth knowing on the topic of aqueous parts cleaning to the ten participants: During the theoretical part, the basic principles and the interaction of cleaning chemicals and machine technology were examined in detail, while the practical part dealt with determining the cleaning agent concentration and bath management. In addition, different process design buildings blocks were looked at in detail. “An optimum cleaning result can only be achieved when all components build on each other and supplement each other in an optimum manner”, Thomas Gutmann, Head of Customer Support explains.

The goal of the Cleaner College was to sensitise participants for these aspects and to not only have their focus on component geometry, type of material and type of contamination, but also on conscientious bath care. “Monitoring the cleaning agent concentration greatly influences the cleaning result and should therefore be managed as an independent process”, Thomas Gutmann continues. Within the scope of the seminar, participants were provided with the live opportunity to get to know the most important parameters for bath effectiveness as well as the methods for bath monitoring.

At the end of the day, but also in between lectures, there was ample opportunity for mutual exchanges arising from operational practice.

As a rule, the Cleaner College is offered twice a year and addresses in particular planners and operators of cleaning systems. Further information on seminars offered can be found here or in our the flyer.
