The new, lean MAFAC-PICO:
Strong spray-cleaning at competitive price.
The new MAFAC-PICO aqueous parts cleaning system was first introduced at the METAV fair in February 2010. It is MAFAC's new entry model within their range of compact aqueous spray-cleaning systems. The PICO is especially designed for the substituion of manual cleaning operations in component cleaning.
Being the youngest member of MAFAC's product family, the MAFAC-PICO is named after an island of the Azores. Its name (latin=small) says it all: The compact spray cleaning system is the German think tank's new entry model. Regarding its technical equipment, the PICO is rightly considered to be the lean version of the MAFAC-KEA single tank system. The PICO's process technology is intentionally reduced to the basket system's motion around the horizonal axis. While MAFACs unique feature of full vertical rotation of the spraying system thus is waived, the cleaning of scooping components can still be realised. The deliberate limitations to the system's operation options supersedes a control panel. However, the reliability of excellent cleaning results remains unaffected. The affiliated saving contributes to the PICO's conclusive cost-performance-ratio. Thus the system is particularly worthwile for off-centre cleaning tasks and for the substituion of manual cleaning operations. The PICO boasts MAFAC's characteristic process reliability, flexibilty in component cleaning and high repeatability, both for the wet and for the drying phase. In these economically challenging times, MAFAC presents a low cost, value added alternative ahead of common top loading machines which usually offer considerably less technical options.
